  FIVE FOODS TO AVOID

Commercially Fried Foods

French fries, most commercial chips and even non- fish sea food come under this category. Corn chips, tortilla chips, potato chips and even those vegetables that have been fried contain trans fat. Those foods that are fried in vegetable oils like soybean, safflower or corn are particularly harmful. Consumption of these kinds of oils can cause weight gain, aging, clotting and cancer.

Perhaps you can use coconut oil to cook your French fries or other fried foods. It has high saturated fat content and is not damaged by the high temperatures that are reached during cooking.
Some companies, however, have become aware of the dangers of trans fat and are manufacturing chips without it. If you are craving to have chips you can possibly try out some of these. But even if the trans fat is removed the high temperatures used to prepare them can cause the formation of carcinogenic substances.
Again fried lobsters, shrimps and oysters have high amounts of trans fat, carcinogenic substances like acrylamide, mercury and possibly viruses and parasites. Actually these creatures considered scavenger animals consume foods that may be harmful for you. Remember these are not killed by heat.
So it is best to avoid these types of foods for a healthy living.
